"I first met Pat from Starbight a few months ago because a house inspector flagged the chimney and my realtor scheduled him to do an inspection. He was punctual, did a thorough inspection of 2 chimneys, and provided a report with pictures and recommendations on the same day. The inspection fee was very reasonable. Recently, I hired a general contractor to do a fireplace remodel and I wanted a second opinion after they have already started the work. I texted Pat on a Sunday morning and he offered to stop by to take a look after finishing at a job site that was 2 hours away(!). Honestly, I was prepared to be disappointed because it was a short notice on a weekend. Pat showed up at 5pm as he said he would, listened to my concerns, gave his assessment and suggestions, video called his colleague who's specialized in tiling to get a 3rd opinion (who actually echoed a lot of what Pat had said to me already). We discussed for a full hour and his professional opinion was very valuable in helping me figure out what the next steps are. He also passed along a few contacts who he works with which I'm sure will become handy in the future. I'm going to recommend Pat to my friends and colleagues for any chimney and fireplace related jobs. There are a lot of safety regulations that I think is worth hiring a specialist to get it right. While I have only hired Pat for the initial inspection, he has shown that he went above and beyond."

Estimate for all the repairs were received. My husband will ask questions and we will ask for the final quote for the repairs and cleaning."
